Presentation

Jim Watson, of ABC Auto Parts, Blue Island Illinois, and a Past President of the ARA, presented the ARA's Airbag Protocol and the ARAPro Airbag program to the CIC in Scottsdale, Arizona, on July 23rd, 2008. A copy of the presentation can be downloaded by clicking here.

Audits

The ARA's Airbag Protocol requires participating members to be audited by an independent examiner annually.

For members who are Gold Seal certified, the auditor who is conducting the annual Gold Seal audit may also conduct the Airbag Protocol audit during the same visit.  The audit documents needed by the independent auditor may be downloaded here.1) Audit Plan Worksheet, 2) Audit Execution and 3) Audit Recommendations.

For members who are not Gold Seal program participants, you will need to make arrangements with an independent auditor to evaluate your operations for compliance with the Airbag Protocol.
